I’ve noticed in the Infection Game Mode that there are a couple of maps where you can glitch out of the map. I realize there will almost always be a way to glitch out of a map, but one spot on Backwoods is particularly annoying. On the tallest rock peak near the well, you can glitch above the map and sit just above the rock. When the infected sword charge you, then they fly above you and die instantly since they’re read as off the map. It seems like a recent exploit because I only saw it for the first time near the end of the summer and it is becoming really common as of the last couple of weeks.
The other two spots I’ve seen (another on Backwoods above the house, and one on Malignant in the rafters near the hydra spawn) are annoying to deal with, but at least you can still kill the person after a few swings.
Is there any way to patch this? Infection is one of my favorite game types and one of the few reasons I still play Halo 5, but if someone does use this exploit then it ruins the entire match in the first round.
