I spent alot of time in customs so i really like infection, and often simple game options are the best thing for a infection game to work, id really like to get a discussion going on future options of H4 infection.
A few ideas i have:
Infection spawn group. On alot of maps a big herd of zombies is fun and sometimes neccessary to balance the humans vs zombies. I think it would be really cool if zombies could spawn on each other like invasion did, that way zombies would stick together. Its also alot more fun when you got a buddy to spawn on instead of walking across an entire map.
Halo 3 invisibility function needs to come back. Ghostbusters, predator, etc just dont work well because if you move it makes you invisible (promoting camping and slow game).
Instant kill overriding invinciblity. In so many games, such as halo on halo, or other games where there is a 1 v rest situation, the one will just commit suicide to prevent the other group from killing it. There needs to be an invincibility option so it cant kill itself, but also an instant kill so when they DO get there the zombie can be killed.
Zombie %age numbers needs to come back for big/small lobbies.
Zero bloom option. I always wanted a high ROF headshot only weapon for infection, like the halo 2 pistol. I just think these function best for infection.
The option to make a game similar to the Walking Dead tv show. We probably already have it, im just not creative enough to make it. But i think something like this (zombies move in packs, moving slow, limited ammo, dangerous to make noise and shoot, beatdowns encouraged for quietness, dangerous travelling, etc) would be awesome.
Thats all the ideas i have so far, i just wanted to spark some discussion for infection. If you guys would post some ideas i think it would be awsome.
