What counts as a win in Infection for progress toward Targetmaster? Is it only first place? I got the skin I wanted recently so I had no reason or desire to play the sub-par post-2017 PvP again. But, since the announcement that reaching 152 would result in a reward for Infinite, I figured it made sense to double up wins with a playlist that rewards high XP and get the remaining skins along the way.

To answer your question it is the same as halo 4 was. Which means you need to finish in 1st place and have the most points at the end of the final round in h4 there was 3 rounds in h5 there is 4, Thats the only way to be awarded a win. Hopefully this clarifies things for you.

No if you want an honest opinion the only thing its good for is XP
Winning a match in Infection will count towards the Targetmaster commendation. In my opinion, one of the more efficient ways to work towards the skins.

Haxor how do you figure? Its better to just focus on one or the other because your not always going to come in first same as any other mode but i say team games are your best bet for wins not FFAs
Maybe Swat is more efficient to get the Targetmaster?
