Infection and matchmaking

Why is it that we have BASIC maps for infection? This will eternally escape me. It’s been out for over a year and Bungie didn’t do anything and it seems 343i hasn’t taken notice either. The community has already made several amazing maps. All they need is implemented into matchmaking. There’s no variety or real fun in it like the Halo 3 days. It wouldn’t take more than a few hours to completely test a map out. We NEED our Haunted House. We need a night of the living dead. We need a dead city. WE NEED SOMETHING OTHER THAN “THE CAGE” and “SWORD BASE”

Halo 3 infection was fun. It was different. It wasn’t a complete slaughter fest for the zombies. AND THERE WERE MORE THAN 2 GAMETYPES! Alpha zombies is a great addition, but where’s the Creeping Death, Save One Bullet, etc. Make use of your safe zones. A completely new addition and it’s not even used. It failed because it was implemented onto base maps, not zombie specific maps.

Also, get rid of friendly fire. Completely. It serves no purpose at all in this casual of a gametype. Not to mention the betrayal bugs. Sure the lack of betrayal booting fixed the main concern, but it’s still complete @$%^& bull#@$& that I get betrayed for killing anyone, or not for that matter. Getting rid of friendly fire solves that, in it’s entirety.

Future iterations of this post will be more thought out and have better writing. But something has to be said, and something has to be done. I’ve got quite the gripe over Infection in matchmaking. So, to make my point I’m going to pull a Shawshank Redemption and make a single post a week explaining the same thing, until I get word that somebody is listening and/or something is being done.
