Infection Achievements Playdate (7/27)

Hello there. Toa Freak, here. So, this Friday, July 27, I will be hosting an infection game night, dedicated to the two infection related achievements in Halo Reach. Please note: This is not a boosting party. We’ll just be going into the infection playlist in matchmaking and voting for Defiant and Anniversary maps (in alternating order).

What are the Achievements?

All Alone
Defiant: Be the last surviving uninfected player in a matchmade Infection game.

Emergency Room
Anniversary: Infected 3 players in a single round in a matchmade Infection game.

What are the Requirements?
You must have both the Defiant and Anniversary Map Packs. A mic would be preferred but is not necessary.

Where, When, and What Not?
So when will this all happen? When does the grand master plan unfold? The fun begins as 6:00 pm Central Standard Time on Friday July 27th. To participate, either post here or send me a PM. Please be sure to note if you definitely going to join or if you might join in. Be sure to let me know if you change your initial status for this event (for example, going from definite to maybe).

The party will be open to join at 5:50 pm, and at 6:00, I’ll send out invites. The party will be limited to 12 people, so first come first serve rules apply. If you can’t get in initially, I’ll send out invites as positions open up.

The playdate will last for about 3 hours, ending at 9:00 om CST.

Please be Polite
While in the party, please be respectful and courteous to your fellow players. After you get your achievements, I would politely ask that you hang around to help out others. I can’t make you stay, but it’s the polite thing to do.

Good stuff. I had a pretty large turnout for my playdate, and unfortunately a lot of people couldnt get in the party. I’ll forward them here if they need the achievements. I have a buddy who may want in, and I may stop by with my girlfriend as she needs a couple of them as well.

I would recommend deleting you Noble Map Pack prior to playing to remove those maps as options. Only one person in the party (preferably leader) needs them deleted to prevent them from popping up.

Also, I think you need to edit your post. The topic says 7/25, but your post says 7/27.

Thanks for the advice, and I got the date changed to the correct date.

Just a note but the Anniversary one is in Anniversary FFA so you could play there, then have someone delete Anniversary before going into LD if you have a smaller group.

I already have them, but I can certainly serve as a stand-in if you don’t have enough people! It’s possible I’ll be away from my Xbox on Friday, but I’ll let you know!

Feel free to send a friend request, otherwise I’ll just send an invite when the event begins. And don’t worry about sending your GT. On Waypoint, your username is your GT.

We’ll be doing strictly infection, working on both the defiant and anniversary infection achievements.

I personally already have the anniversary one, but the defiant one has been very elusive. So when creating the playdate, I’m more likely to get help by promoting both the defiant and anniversary infection achievements.
