Infected can't wield weapons in Custom Games?

I heard from my friend when he was messing around in Custom Games that this isn’t allowed anymore. WHY? But it’s custom games! I hope this isn’t true… Infected should be able to do whatever the rules are in custom games, be it wielding weapons (like in every other halo), getting into vehicles (like in every other halo), and using armor abilities (like in halo reach). They don’t HAVE to be able to do it, but there should be an option that says “Infected can wield weapons: Yes/No” etc etc

Can someone confirm if this is true or false?

This is true. They have removed the infection gametype for some mind bending reason.

No more, icecream man, AvP, monster trucks, duck hunt, old ppl on scooters, etc etc etc. sadface.

tell him to change the infected or alpha flood apperence trait to ‘overshield’ or ‘unchanged’ then try it again
