Whilst browsing through the pre-order bonuses, it made me start to wonder if we’ll be able to put separate skins on each armour piece, instead of only being able to apply ONE skin to everything.
As we all know, the pre-order bonus skins only apply to a specific armour set (Forest + Hazop, for example). Thus, if we assume that the same is said for all armour skins in the game, then we arrive at a problem: Most people aren’t going to be wearing full armour sets. Instead, they are going to be wearing a mix-match of different armour variations.
So, hypothetically, say I order from EB games and obtain the Forest-Hazop skin, however; I only equip the Hazop chest to my in-game Spartan (lets say the rest is Soldier): This means that only the Forest skin will appear on my chest and no where else.
I don’t see the logic to this, and I think 343 would think the same. Thus, it is possible they will allow you to place individual skins on each piece.
The only problem with this theory, however; is if the armour-skin specific rule only applies to the pre-order bonuses. Cause then we’d be able to use single skins on entire pieces of mix-matched sets.
