Stop giving points for assists. (it makes me feel like an assist is worth the same as a kill which is entirely not true.

Let me see my kills and deaths so I know if I’m doing good or bad. This game does not let me see this information in game, so I typically have a 1.5 k/d instead of a 2, because I’m primarily an offensive player who plays solely with randoms.

Why is “Shootout in Valhalla” the best way to rank up?
With Fast Track, I get 1k+ bonus xp = 7k+ Xp per game that typically takes less than any multiplayer game, along with the fact that you get a lot of commendations in Spec Ops (more xp). Makes double xp codes worthless.
If you have a 1.5 and you play with randies, that’s about right. I only have a 1.42 to reflect that since i also search randoms.
Assists are valuable in my opinion. Now with the exception of laggy matches where you get nothing but assists when you clearly killed someone, putting shots into someone means that points go up on your total kill score. Assists are recognition of that and the faster the other guys die, the faster victory can be secured.
Everyone wants to be a main slayer but that is simply not possible every game. I don’t rage when i get assist on solid connections but unlike the past Halo games, they are more rewarded and consistent IMO. That was a major problem in experienced in Halo 3 and in Reach, where i obviously did enough for assist but was not given one.
