After having several multiplayer sessions I exited back to the main screen to browse some of the other areas of the UI. When I decide to reenter a multiplayer and navigate to the appropriate menu to initiate the matchmaking, I am met with an indefinite estimated wait time. The EWT remains at 0:00, and the only option I have is to back out by pressing the B button or pressing the A button on the cancel search option. The only way I’ve seen I’m able to regain access to join a multiplayer session or even just the matchmaking to the multiplayer session is to close the HALO: Infinite Insider app entirely and then restarting it.
Matchmaking is over for now
Not when this happened to me. I was in the indefinite EWT screen then I left the game by closing the app, then maybe 40 minutes later I launched the app again and could once again join a multiplayer session. After several matches I left multiplayer to browse the customization tab, and when I went back to join multiplayer again it went into indefinite EWT again.
Same thing happening to me for last 20 min
Oh found a match, maybe there is less people testing the game right now ?
This seems to be a continuing obstacle in the game as of this flighting. I am encountering this quite frequently after matches I am locked out from starting matchmaking and I have to close and relaunch the game to regain access to matchmaking and playing the game.
Sometimes this did happen to me as well. But as of you writing the post above, and me writing this, matchmaking is over for the day (scheduled to end at 9 PM PT)

We are in different times zones (If that even matters). This would happen to me at indiscriminate times during the test flight. I had it happen approximately 20 minutes into the very start of a scheduled flighting, as well as about 2 hours into the a scheduled test flight. In addition to maybe 45 minutes before the end of a scheduled test flight. This is not an issue that is reliant on the test flight’s end time. At least as far as when this indefinite EWT takes place. To be clear I’m not criticizing to denegarse, it is a ceutís I’m to bring awareness to the team working in the multiplayer if the game, with the intentions and hopefully that this will be addressed before the launch of the game to retailers and ultimately resulting in us having the best Halo experience when we get the game in our hands or in our hard drives this December. So close, yet so far way.
