Increase warzone assult core health

At the moment its too easy for it to be destroyed, simple as that. a fuel rod clip with destroy it (or almost destroy it). A spartan laser rekts it, even smgs do too much damage to it.
That said it wouldn’t be a problem if the core room was fixed/better designed. ATM you can destroy the core without even getting in the room. rotating the cores weakness side to face the back of the base may fix issue instead. I hope the new warzone maps will have better designed home bases. there should be a room before the core room that the enemy first need to get into or something like that.

EDIT: I’m only talking about Warzone ASSAULT. I think the health is fine for normal warzone because you have basically either completely lost by that point or you can very quickly cap a base they arn’t at.

It’s okay, that’s why you must DEFEND it. It’s not suppose to be attacked by 12 players at the same time, heck even getting in the room takes luck and skill.

you can win by spaming ghosts into that room…I’ve done it, its not hard. the defends cant destroy the ghosts fast enough

I think the core health is decent. Most warzone games that I play don’t end in the core being destroyed anyway

If it’s gotten to the point to where you consistently deal with people after the core, especially in ghosts, then you realistically already lost anyway. You’re already spawning at home base and if you die, that’s ~8 free seconds of lower defenses. All the while, the other team has the three bases under lockdown (if not by them, then by the marines), and they have personal access to every boss on the map. Your REQ level can barely go up because they kill you more than you kill them, so it’s not like you can eventually spawn a tank. And all the while, they keep getting points so even if you save the core completely, you’re so far behind that Warden Eternal is needed for a chance to catch up.

All you’re doing is delaying the inevitable.

Not Warzone, WARZONE ASSAULT only. i think health is fine in normal warzone

Yea I even had a wraith 2 shot it with splash damage. The last line of defense is definitely the weakest.

Yeah its odd. the hardest to cap is the first base, second hardest is the second base and easiest is the core. It should be the other way around…
