I agree with this. I find it really random too, it feels like I can kill a guy 5 feet in front of me, walk up to his corpse, and that Sniper he had, and all his DMR ammo will already have disappeared.
I find myself out of ammo way to often. Especially in Big Team. I even use the Ammo support upgrade with Firepower. Xd
You might have to sacrifice and use the AMMO perk, and/or pick up ammo from dead players.

Too bad you can’t just pick more ammo as a ordnance Drop selection.
This would solve all ammunition problems in this game!!!
Except for how they dont spawn any primary weapons like BR or DMR anywhere on the maps…
Every other Halo game with MP had the maps littered with primary starting weapons. Why not now 343? I have no idea.

They had to sacrifice Items on map/screen for Frame-rate and graphics. Have any of you played MP and get a random ‘Drop In Frame-Rate’? That usually happens because of all the action/excitement on the entire map, like 343 said they are “straining the Xbox’s 360 capabilities” I do hate the quick de-spawn, though.

If you are basically killing yourself for ammo you are doing it wrong. There are all manner of enemy weapons all over the place. If you arent getting an ordinance by the time you are out of ammo… You should consider other games as well.
