I recently received an Xbox Live Message with my Halo4 Crimson Package code. I wrote this down and attempted to redeem it today, however it said it was invalid. After speaking to an Xbox Customer Support Chat Technician, it was confirmed I had a character incorrect. Because I deleted the Xbox live message after I had written it down - thinking I had it correct, I cannot verify which character is incorrect. I was then referred to this Forum, where I was told someone here could provide me with the missing or wrong character for this code.
