Anyone else noticing some random SR’s have very little XP required? It took about 65k experience to get from 53 to 54, and then 15k experience to get from 54 to 55 and then from 55 to 56. I remember the early 40’s to be easier than the latter 30’s as well.
Any reason for some of these levels to be much easier to get through? Am I reading too much into this or is there something i’m missing?
It really doesn’t make a difference to me im just more curious than anything.

So It’ll escalate, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10…then it will require slightly less XP for 11, then continue going up. I THINK. This may not be correct.
it’s a tiered ranking system - what you’re seeing is exactly what’s happening. The tiers (and XP requirements) were posted the week H5 went live.
the way the guy described it on HaloTrackers site is as follows:
level 50 - 1,000,000 xp
level 100 - 6,000,000 xp
level 152 - 50,000,000 xp
so as you can see there is an exponential growth in needed xp to level up once you start getting higher in the ranks. despite level 100 being more than half of the way, its only 12% or so of the total xp required to hit max level.

Its only a grindfest when you get to level 100

I thought that might be it too but that doesnt seem to be the case. It does gradually go up, level 41 is easier than level 45…but level 39 to 40 was 3x the XP required than what it took me to go from 55 to 56, which makes no sense. Like all the sudden 3 levels mid 50’s only took about 15k experience. Even if it goes up gradually…it should be more experience than any level in the 30’s.
