Inconsistent aiming

I made this post before but no answer. What is the best aim settings for controller? Everything I used feels off. My enemy always somehow land a perfect on me and I go 1-10 in ranked while the enemy and my own team go positive. What aim settings do I need that’s consistent with the Infinite’s movement??

Please for the love of God help me.

Just play around with the settings and see what feels best for you. It is really up to personal preference. Also are you on console or pc? What about input device controller or mouse and keyboard.

Controller ofc but nvm that what’s your settings?

At the moment I am on default. Just trying to get back into PvP before I mess with the settings.

NP. Let me know if they helped

They seem alright. I’m just trying to get better in rank and I need the perfect settings

Overall try out some of the pro player settings. It just might help

Yeah you right. I’ll look into some

Nothing’s working…ugh

You honestly just gotta practice with them.

The aiming is being thrown off by strafing. If you’re trying to look right slightly on controller and then begin your strafe left it will stop your aiming adjustments. Then when you stop your feet the aimer will respond normal again.

So what it does to your aiming is depending on the direction of your strafe, you have to use different adjustment strengths to compensate for every shot.

This is why designing games for the computer is not smart.

There is absolutely no way to find this GLITCH out with M&K

I see…man the aiming feels really…weird all because the strafing speed is fast…so fast that my eyes will have problems adjusting to. Nothing of the sorts in halo 3 or reach for example.

Nice to know that Infinite’s aim settings NEVER seem to work in my favor. Either I’m overshooting or I’m too stiff to move efficiently. With good close range aiming, I suffer with long range engagement. With good long range engagement I suffer with close quarters…

i had (still kind of have) this trouble too.

It helped me a bit to set the FOV to 115 (i’m playing on a 27" monitor)

My settings (xbox Series Controller with a little nob on the analog stick):

Accel: 2
Sense Vert: 3
Sense Horiz.: 3

Look Stick
Center Deadzone: 9.5
Treshhold: 0 (somebody wrote in the forum that lower treshhold makes a stronger AA, but idk if its true)
Axial Deadzone: 0

Like other users said, it comes down to personal preference and set-ups so idk if i can help you.

Don’t know if this is relevant but if your playing with a controller and your on Steam; you could be running into an aim bug. I can usually tell if the bug is active by going into a weapon drill and checking to see if your controller rumbles when you shoot your gun. If it does then your fine, but if it doesn’t your aim is going to feel off and aim assist wont be active. Restarting your game and hitting a bunch of buttons on your controller at the start screen tends to fix it.

If your not dealing with this bug then all I can do is share my aim settings.

[Sensitivity & Acceleration]
Look acceleration: 5
Horizontal sensitivity: 8.5
Vertical sensitivity: 8.5

[Move Thumbstick]
Center Deadzone: 0
Max Input Threshold: 10.0
Axial Deadzone: 0

[Look Thumbstick]
Center Deadzone: 0
Max Input Threshold: 10.0
Axial Deadzone: 0

Hope this helps!
