Ever since the Warzone FF update dropped, i have noticed an increase of hit registration problems In multiplayer, Ghost melees happen a lot more often and sometimes ground pounds don’t do the damage they should. I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this or this is just a connection issue on my end (Which i doubt)
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Example of this (The audio is a lil bit too loud, sorry)
I havent noticed
i think you are lagging

I thought so too, But its been happening for days now and My internet speed has stayed the same, (50 down 8.7 up. Which is more than enough for online play) and i find it kind of strange for it to linger on for so much time.
Download Ping Plotter and run a test to Google.com while you play, the main factor in online gaming is Latency and a simple downstream/upstream speed test won’t really tell you anything at all other than your internet is on. Pingplotter will help you identify any problems your/your ISP’s end or at least rule it out as the problem.
I myself have a lot of jitter on my connection, meaning it often spikes up to 60-150ms about 10 or 15 times a minute which can explain alot of the little things that don’t make sense when I play, like shots not registering, people suddenly jumping etc.
Keep in mind it can also be caused by OTHERS having a shoddy connection.
Ping plotter’s website also has some great info for gamers trying to improve or diagnose problems with their connection.
Edit: Sorry, shoddy is a very Australian term, I’m sure you got the meaning but it’s another way of saying ‘unstable, unreliable, bad’
