Can someone fill me in on how that system works? I’ve been given 6 DNF’s according to Waypoint, despite never having quit a game in the middle.
All I’ve done is left the post-game matchmaking lobby where you meet up with the people you just played with, so does this now count as a DNF? I get a DNF everytime I want to switch playlists?
I wonder if it’s maybe when you are forced to Join in Progress? Perhaps that counts as incomplete, I don’t know. But yeah, I haven’t quit any games either - only left the post game lobby afterwards before the next match begins.
As someone mentioned earlier, looks like it is causing certain games to not record the proper amount of kills. In addition to that, It says i DNF’d a game, and only recorded 6 kills, but in my game history it clearly shows I have 14 kills, but only recorded 6, despite the fact I finished the full game.
How hard is it to get the bugs out? Surely coding such an amazing game gameplay wise must be harder than fixing this ridiculous bugs.
I would attribute this to the server issues. Waypoint stats were unavailable for a few hours yesterday, and the game servers have crashed a couple times. All this is going to lead to bad data in your stats, showing up as DNF. Give 343i some time to work out the bugs and I bet you stop getting DNFs.
Same issue. We backed out of game lobbies a few times to play with new people, update loadouts, etc., and got DNFs on our record. Does this mean you can’t even quit playing at all without getting a DNF?
Hopefully the information is still in their server records somewhere and can just add it back to your stats instead of it being lost and having to be a void game. Which isn’t the end of the world but i like my stats to be correct is all.
