I’ll agree to disagree. Because at the end of the day, we don’t have any real say in 343’s decisions. We just exist. As for discrimination. It’s 2021. That kind of thing exists everywhere. But that’s a discussion for another day.

Fair enough. Granted I’m not completely agreeing with the decisions at hand, I completely understand the logic behind it. The last two years have shown very clearly that there are tangible consequences for businesses not getting inclusion “right”, almost to the point where it’s less risky to just do nothing, but even that’s a trap of you’re on a big enough stage.
As you said, part of a much larger discussion.

The bodytype option system in place right now sucks, its so difficult to tell between them and you basically can’t during gameplay, in Reach, 4, and 5, you could easily tell what gender option people chose from a distance because the differences in the armor silhouette were distinct, which is much better from representation.

I agree that in its current iteration it’s functionally pointless.
At least we have scoreboards unlike where Dice’s brought their games.

It would be cool to just have a wider range of body types in my opinion.

Honestly it would be nice to have a female body type… especially seeing as literally EVERY other player I’ve come across looks just like each other.
Like, all the players in this game look the exact same. At least if they gave a female body type it would add some variety.
