Include less armor in Halo 4

Really I don’t want to play dress up with my Spartan like a barbie. Go back to the way halo 3’s armor was, unlocking achievements and etc gets you armor. I’m sick of kids in Reach always talking about “OMG I WANT To GET TO LT COLONEL SO I CAN GET THOSE SHOULDErS”

I agree, armor sets need to come back also.

It actually adds more creativity for Machinimas. But it’s called the mute button, just because you don’t like kids screaming about armor doesn’t mean they should include less. I don’t mind the Armory at all.

WHAT YOU TALKING ABOUT?

More armor please, but do make it to where it means something and you have to earn it. I like me some braggin rights

yeah, the armor options in Reach are too much. They’re all so similar, I can’t even tell the difference when I’m playing. In Halo 3 I could name each piece of armor with how unique each one was

I honestly don’t care, I’d be fine with everyone being the same, like in Halo 1 and 2.

Armor is great for customization. Armor should be unique looking and belong to a certain set, though. Such as Scout helmet, Scout shoulders, Scout chest, and Scout knee guards. Just a thought.

They should make the armor unlockable by achievement and purchasable through credits.(EXAMPLE: Get the Sharp Shooter achievement to unlock Scout Helmet. After you unlock it pay 50,000 cR)

I like the variety, so more armor please.

“I don’t like it so the developer should take it out!” - You

Just because you don’t like it makes it stupid for everyone? I don’t really see how more armor effects you negatively. I for one would like to see more armor and also armor that stands out from the others, too much armor looked similar in Reach.

Ok. So you don’t want to “play dress ups”? Don’t. It’s not something you have to do.

Use the default armor and mute the annoying children. Problem solved.

Seeing how 99.999% of people I’ve played with in Halo 3/Reach have customized their armor quite a bit, not many people like this idea. If you don’t want to customize, you don’t have to.

They should have MORE armor, its all aesthetic and gives you rewards for your work.

I liked reaches armour selection. We can make machinimas and express our selves to other players.
I would like reach and 3 armour all in one package with a load of extra goodies.
Helmet upgrades weren’t that bad either.
It just shows how much we player the game and who we are as a character.

Thank you sir. When I’m shooting somebody I don’t care what they look like, i just want to see them fall down. Hehe. Anyways if there is an armory or not doesn’t matter to me. If there is I pray credits don’t unlock them. It’s one of the horrible additions in reach, it just leads to credit farming and abuses in my opinion. Maybe if armor was unlocked by reaching milestones through achievements or player skill. Same goes for ranks per skill level.

If they added armour that wasnt the same as another and from what I seen they are very different looking armour it should be fine.

Here’s an idea: More armour, different ways to unlock it. Armour styles like that in Halo 3 will be unlocked via campaign, some armours will be unlocked via commendations and challenges (Like CQC and Military Police), some via the armoury.

Problem solved.

As long as they don’t have limited costs in the armoury /inclament weather/

IMO all armour should be unlocked at the beginning of the game. The only way to actually get the armour is to buy them with credits (which should be COMPLETLEY seperate from the ranking system).

Getting armour should be as important as changing your colour on your spartan.

Hell just as long as EVA is back I don’t really give a rats -Yoink-, I’ve used EVA or Pilot since 2007, its got a lot of value to me, and I’d like to see it come back.

And if you must know why, Ghost of Onyx, Kurt S-051. S3’s used SPI armor, in Halo 3 before we knew anything I though the EVA was SPI, simply based on looks, and since I’ve never stopped using it, its my good luck charm.

I want more emblems, the emblems are important to me and I want to see an extremly wide variety of them. Example: the door for campaign hardness as a background, and then the difficulties as primary.

I would have a grunt over the door, because that would be awesome.
