Dear 343, please include all the Halo 2 maps included on the Halo 2 multiplayer map pack disc released on xbox 1 for Halo 4.
Halo 2 had the best maps like Relic and Terminal.

Maybe 343i should remake 1 or 2 maps, but they should include completely new maps with Halo 4.
I agree about new maps and new content but some of the Halo 2 maps just can’t be surpassed in terms of quality and gameplay.
Just click on the list and look at the maps, they’re all 10/10 for quality.

Lol this isn’t halo 2, but halo 4. Halo 4 should have a majority of its own unique maps.
As much as I like H2 (and really: I like it a lot), I don’t think this is a good idea. Halo 4 shouldn’t have remakes of old maps. And beside that, we don’t even know how the gameplay is going to turn out…we all know how different gameplay and map remakes go together: bad, just look at Reach (and mind you: I also like Reach, just not how it plays on remade maps for instance).
Also: I highly doubt a mappack with H2 maps will mean 10 million sales. Being unique, awesome and simply blowing away the competition would do a better job in that regard.
I couldn’t disagree more, what I want to see is brand new maps instead of constant remakes.

There is really nothing wrong with bringing old maps back. I don’t know why everyone gets butt hurt when it gets mentioned. Yes, we all want -Yoink!- new maps, and that should be a priority. I’m sure 343 knows this, but once they finish the new maps there’s no reason to NOT have some old maps come back.
The “I want Halo 4 not Halo (x)” talk is getting really annoying.
Discs are so 1 year ago.
Give them to us through DLC after the game comes out.

They really should. It would honestly be a great idea for marketing.
Exactly, just give us all the best maps from the previous Halo games and release them as DLC. The problem is almost all of them are from Halo 2 so thats why I mentioned the Multiplayer disc because I’d love to have Terminal and Relic back but sad if we got no Waterworks or Containment. I’d also like Coagulation back as well in it’s original form.
There’s absolutely no reason why 343 can’t give us new maps and give us the best of the old as well. Some maps like Terminal, will never be surpassed.
I have no problem with 343 remaking some Halo 2 maps after Halo 4 is released, but including an extra disc of exclusively Halo 2 maps with Halo 4 just sounds really weird. The maps would also needs to be designed and extensively tested, especially since I doubt Halo 4 will play exactly like Halo 2.
I hear Halo 2 on XBC and even Halo 2 Vista are am amazing and up and running.
I’d like to see more than just Halo 2’s maps come back, and again through DLC this can happen. However, i don’t think the maps should be in matchmaking. I think the main focus should be on Halo 4’s maps. (hopefully they’re all unique and magical)
This is the second best idea ever, surpassed only by the golden moa statue idea. I WOULD LOVE THIS!!!

Lehnaru, the Golden Moa statue sounds like a genius idea, a whole MP map dedicated to Moa. I hope you can ride them in Halo 4.
I want new maps but I would KILL to have Valhala and Zanzibar back.

I stole the Golden Moa statue idea from someone else (though of course you can’t really steal an idea) though I can’t remember who. I’m just trying to spread it around the forums!
