Remember the good ol days of halo 3? when you’d find yourself against an enemy with a flaming skull?
WELL! Apart from thinking oh -Yoink- bungie are in my game, it added some epic looking spartans!
Then reach came along and introduced grunt birthday party, inclement weather and that depressing cloud I can’t remember the name of.
Wouldn’t it be great for your head to explode in confetti every time you got shot in the face? For your body to fall to the floor serenaded by the sound of grunts celebrating?
I know not all of you would like this, but that can easily be fixed with an option to hide/mute effects. I for one would love to have my head on fire again, even if it gives me away, the screenshots and clips captured would be well worth it.
Come on 343i! Bring back a feature I know a lot of people loved!

I agree, I’d love to have cool armor effects like in Reach. Not like it’s going to look out of place or silly with people running around with pizza and french fry skins…

Well rocket race and grifball aren’t even in halo 5 yet so
OT: They where kinda cool, but also kinds ridiculous and really aren’t needed. In reach it all just ended up with birthday party and one or two keeno’s with inclement weather.

Rocket Race is the best underrated gametype to ever grace Halo… be careful what you continue to say about it.

That was actually a flaming chest piece made to look like the skull was on fire! I remember the Bungie Blogpost about it very well!

That was “Pestilence”
That out of the way… yes. I wish we had some sort of armor effect too. I loved the joy I felt when I finally bought Pestilence in Reach… just hitting that “buy” button and watching all them credits disappear was great! Maybe further down the line they will introduce these in exchange for REQ Points?
