Thunderstorms on Apex 7, Snowstorm on Stormbreak that limited visibility, heavy rain on escape the A.R.C (with potential flooding in areas from a broken barrier section perhaps?) It’d be cool if there was an “alternate” version of each map with weather considering we have 4 in total. Would give the game a different feel fo’ sure. The weather on all maps seems to be a nice 78 and sunny at all times… (well, 28 on Stormbreak but you know what I mean…)
What do you folks think? Is this something that could be done with the current game engine in an update and would you want it?
I wish there was inclement weather in all maps

Don’t see why they couldn’t…the engine for the game already has the ability within forge so don’t see why they couldn’t at least try put it into Warzone.
I don’t know if I would want it to be active the entire time the map was up, but then I might. I don’t know. I certainly wouldn’t want them to implement this and claim that we were getting a dozen new maps as a result of the variations.
I like this idea, but have to agree with not having it on for the entire time on the map.
Maybe a blizzard kicks in when the Warden arrives on Stormbreak… limited visibility and motion trackers go crazy for a while. Red dots everywhere to account for all of the new motion.
It would add a level of chaos.

Yea, I’m with ya. Would be kind of a cop-out.

That’d be sweet, I like it! But yea, say Apex 7 for example. Maybe a thunderstorm rolls in when a team hits the 500 marker. Everything gets dark, brief patches of lightening reflecting off the Spire’s now soaked and glossy surfaces, water pouring down base openings and tunnel and cave networks, slightly reducing their entrance’s visibility… lasts until any team hits 850 points then the storm moves out towards the ocean and the sun comes back out.
