343i, please bring back the flame thrower and flame grenades. They worked really well in Halo’s formula as turret/grenade types. Gotta love that Incendiary grenade kill from the grave. Also, next Gen fire effects could make the “flame” weapons beautiful and terrifying to witness.
And with what seems to be an inevitable return of the flood, we need to be able to BURN THE PARASITE!!
the lag nades and black screen thrower? Please no. Campaign maybe but MP no
Incendiary grenades were interesting and flamethrower was only good in close quarters, with the new mobility the flamethrower would be kinda useless (nice to have in the game maybe just campaign) but if the modify the grenade so it can ooze down walls, flow down ramps and drip off ceilings it could make combat interesting, so you’re fighting an enemy on a ramp so you throw the 'nade behind him and it flows down slowly-ish getting his legs and dealing damage. Or someone hides behind cover to recharge his shield so you throw one on the ceiling and it drips down onto him finishing him off.
I wouldn’t mind bringing the spike grenade back either, it’s conical blast radius made it hard to use as a generic damage weapon but if you were good you could gain kills with it, helps that it could stick to pretty much anything. I remember once sticking a guy in the leg and as he was moving the top of the 'nade pointed right at his team-mate, gained a double kill.
Pulse grenade is fun as well, no one really used 'cus no one knew how to use it effectively, its two explosions and the continuous damage in-between the grenade was perfect for close quarters. throwing at someones feet after you melee or before an attempted headshot, even throwing it to block someones path letting your shield recharge before they enter the area. Earning kills from the grave because players don’t notice they’re in the grenade’s AOE and dying. So entertaining
I’d love to see the spike and flame grenades return along with the first person non-turret halo one flamethrower.

Loved the spike grenades, especially in objective matches - always great to plant a grenade across from where an enemy was camping and hear the spikes impale him.
I would like to see the flame grenades Mack a big comeback but I think the flamethrower would be useless

The flamethrower would need to be heavily modified for h5g. The mobility options would make the h3 flamethrower useless In mp.

I agree you were a sitting duck with it in Halo 3 and that was without sprint and thrusters.
