My Spartan, in attempting to exit the big ship and escape, fell into a large crack between two machines in the escape bay. I can not get him too jump high enough to escape through the narrow opening. There are no boxes or other implements on which he could step up. I’m stuck here, each time I close the game and reopen I’m back in the box again. Any suggestions?
Are you talking the campaign? Use the grappleshot to get Chief around and out.

You could also just restart the mission.
