Firstly, the music at the end of Return of the Forerunners is what I always wanted in reference to some super unreal, beautiful, incredible Forerunner structure: angelic, ethereal, surreal, heavenly, etc. We got hints of this in Halo 3, with the likes of (parts of) Edge Closer and Halo Reborn, but that was about it. Now we are on this mysterious, ancient world and the music seems to be fitting this incredible yet bizarre setting.
But, 343, if I don’t hear the -Yoink- Halo theme when I’m pounding down a slope in a Warthog trying to escape or get to something, I will be mad.
