In this frustrating time

Ive been playing through this frustrating matchmaking struggle only for about a week now (343i has been making slight progress). Expecting after numerous 10minute searches that I would end up in a game with a bunch of angry players. But to my surprise, it seems like the majority of the halo community ive encountered in game have been pretty chill about it and rather helpful with in game strategy. Pretty happy to see some patient gamers who don’t mind a little team work. Wonder what would happen if cod ran into this little crisis.

The exact same thing would happen, only with more people. The official forums would be bombarded by angry people. The good posts would be burried and the troll posts would be at the top. The bad posts would attract fanboys and the discussions would be just as toxic. It’s okay to be dissapointed, but to compare 343i to ebola is childish and sending death threats to Frankie is beyond stupid. I only play the campaigns, so the issues aren’t affecting me, but it wouldn’t be fair of me to defend 343i from critisism or ignore the problems. The multiplayer doesn’t work properly and those who want to play it are rightfully angry, but being angry is no excuse for not providing contructive criticism and instead throw insults at 343i and fellow forum members.

To those of you saying that this is the worst release ever, I disagree. Rome 2 was far worse. Atleast the campaign works in the MCC. In Rome 2 nothing worked like it should. The graphics were worse than Shogun 2 and downgraded from the what was shown in a 2 year old demo. The devs boasted about an amazing AI, but it didn’t work. It refused to move forces to attack, it embarked all forces on fleets and didn’t move them. They couldn’t even manage food, so they starved. Even though it was a PC only game, it was far from optimized and many couldn’t even start the game the first month. That game took a year to be fixed and it’s not even a solid game compared to the previous titles. I would also say that battlefield 4 was far worse.

All that being said, it doesn’t justify the fact that a major part of this game isn’t working like it should.

“sending death threats to Frankie” didn’t even know folks had stooped that low yet. This year hasn’t been the best for gaming in general with games working on release. But for some reason we keep buying them. I agree with you on the campaign for the most part. These games have the best stories. Ive had a few run ins with halo 2 not saving progress and the black screen and such but im pretty sure all that is fixed now. But anyways, well said AndyBB1337
