This is it folks. I’ll see you in other places, but not here it seems.
So I want my parting words to matter.
Despite our agreements and disagreements, there’s something we all have in common.
We want Halo to be better. Frankly, things have been on the up and up since the Winter Update and it looks like things will continue to improve. It might take a while…
But, things will be okay.
Even if Halo is not okay somehow, things will be okay. You will be okay. The world’s a scary place right now. Everything costs a lot, everything hurts a lot, there’s stressors all around us. Of course we’re crying out for one of the few things we want to be uncomplicated and good, to be uncomplicated and good.
Maybe it won’t be ever again. Maybe it will. In the end, it doesn’t matter.
Things will be okay, they’ll be alright, so long as you make it so. Good doesn’t happen on its own, but you will find it. Maybe it’s here, maybe it’s not. But keep looking. It can be found.

We’ve never spoken, but you’re a real one. I’ve seen you around for a long time. And you’re right. Everything will be ok. And I’m glad it’ll be ok, because you all deserve that at least.
That’s the problem. I’m only here because I want Halo to be good for Halo. I can’t see the removal of the forums as anything but the dismissal of my concern for Halo.
Halo will be ok because we have MCC. Infinite probably needs to just finish its inevitable faceplant so Halo can be resurrected by someone else in about 10 years. I’m the meantime at least we’ve got access to the classics.
