I just bought Halo 5 again after a year away from the game. After all the updates, I thought it might have improved, but it’s still the same money-grubbing Call of Duty botch job it was 12 months ago. I get so angry playing Arena that I have chest pains.
Checklist for ruining a games franchise in one fell swoop:
Pay to play -Yoink- - check
Aim down sights - check
A COD style non-fuctional radar - check (the radar is what Halo was all about, and what differentiated it from COD).
I just hope the 343 staff all die in a plane crash or maybe the company headquarters is hit by a tornado, but that’s unlikely to happen. Needless to say, I won’t be buying a Halo game again.
