> why are they getting rid of squad dlc! we paid good money for the maps and now we will only rarely get to play them! this is ridiculous!
right its insane
why remove it because it has low numbers? not everyone has the dlc if they did it would have way more players but compared to dlc owners its a huge fraction of them …

That’s a fallacy. Plenty of people who have DLC won’t play Squad DLC because it’s Vanilla.
I would like FF doubles to return, just because I play it a lot with my nooby friends who come over, we splitscreen and there is no lag.
Squad DLC, this might hurt the achievements? Wonder if they will make an alternate playlist for this?
I kinda liked action sack too, I don’t see why they need to remove it, but I don’t really care too much. It had a steady population of over 1000… so its a little confusing.
Also OP, you said squad DLC would be removed twice in your post, and forgot action sack. You might want to edit

That’s where post TU Reach went wrong. It provided multiple ways for us to enjoy the game. But it divided the community, and now we’re taking the beating.

its not a fallacy wtf if everyone had the dlc it would have way more players thats a fact…
No, it really isn’t a “fact” because you’re assuming that everyone that plays would play Squad regardless of the settings. It MIGHT increase but isn’t definite. People don’t like Squad because it’s not TU’d so they don’t play it, even if they had the maps. And if that’s the case, if everyone had the DLC and wanted to play TU, they’d be in BTB, not Squad.

all I said was if everyone had dlc it would have way more players, its true. It only has low numbers because barley anyone has the dlc. I didnt say everyone, I just said it would have way more, enough players to stay as a playlist and not be removed and thats why it shouldn’t because it has a lot of people playing it compared to how little have the dlc.
I really enjoyed anniversary BTB. It was actually fun and because of the lower population I came across stacked teams less frequently than I do when playing normal BTB.
I also liked the anniversary physics and could play headlong and timberland all day because the game style of classic was awesome. It was actually fun. I don’t think I’m going to play Reach as much anymore. If I do, I’m just gonna play classic and TU BTB but its not the same.
I know I’ve been banned in the past for being a bit too critical of the choices 343 is making in the MM play lists…
So I’ll try to keep it short enough that I don’t get banned again.
Since 343 took over, yes some of the playlists weren’t popular, and therefore needed to be removed or tweaked. But to remove popular play lists that many, many players like and are active in, just to -Yoink!- out your own variation is ignorant. coughsuperslayercough
Now when they tweak or remove a list of active play lists, half of the play lists that are being removed are pretty big fan favorites.
Makes me wonder if there is actually decision making going on, or if they just blindfold the janitor and have him/her throw darts at a board to choose play lists to remove/tweak…
