Now Not Sure If This Has Been Brought Up Or Not, But I Have Been Wondering Something About Holding The Flag In CTF.
Now It’s All Common Knowledge Now That We Can No Longer Drop The Flag Once It’s Been Picked Up. I For One Have No Quarrels About This As I Have Yet To Actually Play The Game And Am Open To Change. I Did However Think About Something. In Reach Once The Flag Was Picked Up, We Obviously Had The Option To Drop It. Now Let’s Say You Were Holding The Flag And Tried To Use An AA,Well The Outcomes Would Always Be As Follows; Said Item (Be It Flag Or Skull) Would Automatically Fall.
Now Not Sure If This Has Already Been Disproved But Is There Any Chance That This Game Play Mechanic Was Left Intact? I Don’t Recall Any Game Play Footage Where This Was Tried And Proven Wrong. You Would Think With All That In House Testing They Would Of Caught This, But There Could Always Be A Chance That It Wasn’t Taken Into Account.

There’s Nothing Wrong With My Keyboard I Just Like Typing This Way. See That’s The Thing Though, A lot Of People Are Crying About The Fact That You Can’t Drop The Flag Once You Grab It, But If You Try To Use Your AA And The Flag Does Drop Like It Does In Reach Then There’s No Reason For People To Complain.

What? No Halo 4 you cannot drop the flag unless your killed, its a full commitment for a flag carrier now, that includes not being able to use your AA.

When you type like that it’s jarring and obnoxious. There is literally no reason to capitalize the first letter of every word. You know when people type in all caps how annoying it is? LIKE HEY IT LOOKS LIKE I’M YELLING ALL THE TIME.

You are right, but so is the other member, it’s annoying when people type in all caps or capitalising every word, it is not correct grammar either, also the forum guide lines ask,
All content posted on the Forums should maintain a helpful and courteous tone, and not be intended to provoke or flame other community members.

I think that you won’t be able to use an armor ability while holding the flag. It would be counter to what the point is of not being able to drop the flag. Once you get the flag you are under that role until you die. People need to protect you but you are not entirely defenseless. I like it.

I like it too, there is more reason to play the objective, I avoid objective based games in Reach, I think they will improve greatly in Halo 4.
