Been a Halo player since day one with CE back when I was in college and have loved
every minute of it. From Halo 2 all the way to Halo Reach, I have been online gaming
every chance I have gotten and I have been running with the same group of players
until Halo 4. We are of the older generation of players, most of us upper twenties or
low thirties (I am almost 32)and time has not been good to my little group of players.
Most have drifter away due to Reach’s lackluster game play, all but myself and two others who still played almost everyday, even if it was just to earn the challenges. But Halo 4 was the turning point for the remainder of my team, and they have bailed on me. Like myself, they dislike the ranking system, finding a game that rewards everyone just for playing somewhat ruining the Halo we have always loved. But for the love of the game, I will keep on playing.
Now I have been playing this game since day one, picking up the LE at midnight, despite having to work the next morning. And one thing I will say is that running solo is not as much enjoyable as having the team aspect that I miss. So I am throwing myself out there.
I am looking to join a small clan/team of players in playing this game with. I want players like myself who try to play to win and will sacrifice their k/d ratio when the game is on the line. I will still strive to gain all challenges, whether they are daily, weekly or monthly, and will try to max commendations, and will help any teammate in achieving them as well. My k/d is poor due to the lack of team work and running solo and I do play mostly objectives. I am averaging 1.3 overall, 1.6 in slayer. I play most nights after five US eastern time, and usually play for a few hours till wifey get home. She understands my love of the game and doesn’t have issues with me playing, as long as its within reason. Enjoy customs, but not one to make maps or gametypes myself. Have played Clan battles in Halo 2, so am familiar with the importance of team work that goes into it. Willing to do tryouts if you deem me worthy to join. GT is Wanderlust33. =VX9= is looking for mature gamers to have fun, hangout, and to help replenish our ranks. We have an Army based ranking system, awards, forums, and plenty of other features. But don’t take my word for it, come find out yourself! We require all members to go through a 1-2 week recruitment process. We don’t require much, but one thing that we love to see in our members is teamwork. So if you want to join, either send me an email or come by our forums or TeamSpeak and tell them Shootbacca=VX9= sent you. Once you filled in your application, it will take anywhere from 12-24 hours to be accepted as a recruit. Possibly even sooner. You will be given more information at that time.
