I felt that in reach you were not much stronger then a ODST. Sure you look like a spartan, but are you really one?
Also I would like the weight to be right. When I run into a teamate. I do not want to fly back. I mean I do weigh 2000 pounds. Not 10.

well, i can’t be 100% sure, of course, but i would hazard a very likely guess that we’ll get to be Spartans.
just a guess.
I see what the OP’s getting at. He means that instead of just “looking” like a Spartan we’ll also get to feel like we’re playing a seven foot tall super soldier in a half a ton of powered armor.
I hope so. The first three Halos as the Chief gave that feel for the most part, I don’t see how it couldn’t be improved.
I understand what the OP is talking about as well, but one thing to keep in mind, that Spartan III’s, are basically CHEAP, downgraded versions of Spartan II’s. at least as a whole. There are a few Spartan III’s that actually survived for a long period of time. I believe Kat and Carter were part of the original gourp(s) of SIII’s that actually survived. Beyond that, Spartan III’s were literally designed as cheap “super” soldiers that are expendable and ideal for suicide mission. In a nutshell that a Spartan III’s. you just happen to get a few here and there that also had similar potential that ALL spartan II’s had. again, Kat, Carter, and perhaps Noble 6 as he and Chief were the only 2 spartans with hyper lethal classification.
I know what the OP is saying. In Halo 4 i really think we will feel like a spartan, because 343 said they will be trying very hard to form a strong bond between the chief and cortanna, thus we feel alot closer to the chief.
