Meaning 0 gamerscore. I still play h3 on the 360 occasionally, and I’ve seen multiple people on this game who are 5 star generals with thousands of exp, yet they have not unlocked a single achievement. This seems flat out impossible as they should have gotten achievements like Spartan Officer at the very least. The reason I ask this is because I have several of these people on my friends list unfortunately and frankly, this seems like it might be a sure sign of cheating. If this is the case then I want to delete these people as soon as possible as I have no interest in associating with people who can’t play legit. If you have any knowledge about what’s going on here I’d be very interested.
P.S. I have multiple gamertags on my friends list I could provide that show this but I won’t as it’s probably against some forum rule. If anyone is curious however send me a message on my live account (its the same as my name here) and I can give you some examples of this.
I haven’t looked around with privacy settings in a while, but isn’t there an option to hide your gamerscore from non-friends, or everyone if you want? I don’t see any reason to do this unless there’s something to hide, but it’s a possibility.

There’s no setting to hide your GS total, but you can hide your games from others.

I think this is the most likely reason. The only possible way to go back down to zero is if the Xbox Live system automatically catches your cheated gamerscore, and resets it and banning you from earning achievements again.
How old are there accounts? Maybe they cheated back years ago and got caught, last I remembered it was around the Halo 3 days when the system started catching fake gamerscore.

I can see their other games and achievements just fine though. That’s what makes it so suspicious.

Yeah, that does seem like a pretty likely reason to me as well. Their accounts are pretty old in all cases I believe so this actually makes a lot of sense.
It’s a mod to make them have a 50 with tons of experience. If you are interested, go look at my Halo 3 service record on here. I got put into a match with one and now I have over 100k exp. I was a legit 5 star with about 6k exp before the man glitched us all. Now I look like a cheater and my overall exp won’t go up Very, very sad.

That’s pretty outrageous. I encountered some scrub about a year ago who modded me 100 exp but that’s no where near as insane as 100k. The state this game is in is really quite sad, even taking into account how old it is.

It is. I would love to still play it all the time. But all the ranked matches for me since of the 50’s, all I get is modders, boaters, etc. Only game mode that is playable is social slayer. Some games you get a team full of people who just bought the game, or the other team is a stacked partied up group. I still enjoy it though, favorite game of all time. Most times I would look at the amount of games I’ve played, and the time I spent on this game, but overall between my accounts it was like 65-70 days worth of play time. That’s insane. But I look back and say, I made so many friends I still talk to, had fun with friends when they came over or I went over there. The struggle to get all the ranks. The competitiveness. All the MLG events I went to. This game was GOLDEN. And now, as you mentioned, its very sad.
