I sure hope that 343 takes the in-game text off the middle of the screen so it would be less distracting, but otherwise im HYPED AS HELL for Halo

oh but the shooter was terrible…

If i remember correctly in the reach beta, medals appeared in the center as well. Im sure it will change.

It’s awful. Totally distracting and unnecessary.

Yet another perfect example of why no-beta is a terrible idea.

I personally like it, I hate the things popping in the lower left, a nice subtle blip I can glance at without leaving the kill window is kind of a nice thought

Edit, hopefully it’s a toggling option

I hope that will be changed, it would get annoying every time you get a headshot you get slapped across the face with text.

But the way they’re heading, the only people who will be playing are those who CAN’T consistently get headshots, so it’s no biggie. Don’t worry.

Medals in the Halo reach beta appeard on the bottom not directly in the middle.

I hope it’s not in the center as well. Off to the side would be much better.

I’m with 343i with what they’ve done so far but in-game text to show accomplishments (especially after every headshot…) seems very distracting. Consider that a killfeed might tell you you shot someone and killed them with a headshot (like reach), a medal that shows a headshot kill (again, like reach), and Jeff’s voice to announce when you get a double kill (and more), it just seems unnecessary altogether.
