This has been going on for a while now, kinda recent…basically whenever i load up halo 5 i check my REQs and everything seems fine and after that when i successfully complete (not necessarily win) a warzone/arena game and then go into another game of warzone I’m not able to access my REQs in game, it keeps saying retrieving data. Sometimes if i get lucky it starts to work at the end of the game but its no use then. Really sucks to play warzone with only and AR and a pistol. Any suggestions other than just restarting my xbox because that really doesn’t help this issue.
If this happens after a game, the only solution I have seen is to restart the game. No need to restart the xbox.

I have tried that, it doesn’t work. I played some 4-5 games without any REQs and that was the limit. I kept hoping the next game will give me my REQs but it didn’t so I started leaving the games (instead of pressing “leave game” i just went to the home screen, quit halo and started it again) since it was getting frustrating and yea, I did get banned. Its been almost a year since this game came out and 343 really hasn’t looked into this issue…really disappoints me. Ive seen lots of people complain about this.
Im having this same issue I can’t get into any matches, but yet I can play other games online like Battlefield 4 without any issue.

Make sure your reqs are loaded before you go into the lobby. What I recommend is to wait 1 minute or two for the req’s to load. As long as you did not get any synchronization errors they will load. Goes like this Retrieving Data > Red error message > reqs load. if you get retrieving data or red error at start up, go back one screen wait 30 seconds, and then go back into your req inventory. Repeat until the req’s load. The req system is so bloated, it loads after the game has loaded. Once you have your reqs loaded you can go into the matching lobby and you will have your reqs. I also recommend going wired, if you are not already.

I do wait till my REQs load up, I even look at my collection before starting a game and add those XP boosts but the problem still persists. Will it help if I reinstall the game?
I doubt that would help, but if you have tried everything else, it may be worth a try.
