The game did a recent update lately and I lost all my req pts which in turn made me loose a lot of my helmets and vehicles and I would like to get them back
REQ points and unlocks are stored server side, so game updates shouldn’t affect them. Sounds like there may have been some problems pulling down your service record data after the update. Best thing to try is hard resetting your console - switch it off completely, unplug the power, wait 30 secs and then plug everything back in again. Once you boot up Halo 5 again, everything should appear assuming the game pulls in your service record. You can always check your profile here on Waypoint which will show your REQ points and unlocks:

If the hard reset of your Xbox didn’t work, I recommend restarting your internet router to flush out the more stubborn issues. Just repeat the same steps as you would with the Xbox and you should be just fine.
