In game mini game. Tag, you're it!

I have been playing this game with my online buddies for sometime now. We have agreed upon, and implemented rules that help one win the game of Tag. Here are the rules as the apply to double team:

  1. each player starts with a certain amount of points ( I recommend 5).

  2. A player is considered tagged when another play who is “it” tags another (melee). A player who initiates a game of tag is first “it”.

  3. Even if a player tags another, if they violate any of the rules that specify an ineligible transfer as a penalty, the tag is considered ineligible for transfer.
    (a) Ineligible transfers:

  • If a person who is “it” tags another, and that tag results in the death of that player by any means from the opposing team, the tag is not transfered. The player who tagged the other player resulting in their death remains “it” and has to eligibly tag the other player to transfer the tag.
  • If you tag a player and you are NOT it, is considered an ineligible transfer. The tagger than is considered “it” and must tag the other player two more times to transfer (-1 point if the offender causes the death of the one who is it.)
  • A tag resulting in the lose of the slayer game: The tagger loses 2 points, and must tag the other player 5 more times inorder to transfer the tag.
  1. A tag that is considered NOT violated is subject to review upon request by any player. A review of the film will be done (tag transfers if both parties agree), and if the two parties do not agree, a third party than will review the tape. If the thrid party disagrees with the challenging player, -1 point for that player and transfer of tag, and +1 for the player who made the tag. If he agrees with the challenger, the tagger remains “it” and is granted +1 points.
A tag during end-game gameplay ( the time after the game is won, and players enter the matchmaking lobby) IS eligible.

  2. If a player is “it” at the end of the day (12:01 the next day), he loses one point.

  3. A player who loses all of the points specified for that game of tag has lost to the other player.

Could you upload this gametype to your fileshare? (excluding the obvious rules that cannot be modified)

The happens anywhere you choose it. Preferably during matchmaking. It makes it a lot more fun.
