> All of you people amaze me. The rule of Halo is first come, first serve. They had to remove friendly fire cuz of sensitive people like yourselves who think items in the game can be “called”.
It’s this thing called “common courtesy.”
> If I call down ordinance and I don’t get it then thats my fault and no one elses.
Lots of people play Halo with a respect and coordination to the team, even if it’s not just about manners it’s a more efficient way to win and distribute power among everyone.
I was playing Shatter the day the pack came out, I called in a Binary Rifle and wouldn’t you know it my amazing internet decides I need to have about a 30 second break and black screens me right after I called it, soon as it fixed itself I heard the words “Ordnance stolen!”
I run to where I thought I saw it drop and I see a team mate walking away with it, I put a shot in him and walk away irritated, then suddenly I get shot with a BR, I turn around and he is looking at me holding my Binary, then he picks up the weapon he switched it for and starts t-bagging, I run over and pick it up and t-bag with him.
Hold on… it only says ORDNANCE STOLEN if the enemy gets it… or so I have noticed. I have had my ordnance taken by teammates several times now and never have I heard the commentator.
On the other end of the spectrum, today I had some dude stop playing the game and continuously try and block my line of sight for a couple minutes for no apparent reason while trash talking the entire time. Apparently he felt the need to continue harassing me on Live after the match for some reason. Still have no idea why he was pissed off.

No, its a thing called “first come, first serve”. You are not entitled to anything in the game.
nah I dont rage, I was born with eyeballs and have the intelligence to call for my ordinance in open areas or when im in cover. So I dont worry about that.
though some times I will save my Overshield ordinance till I’m about to get into a 1v1 or a 1v2 and pick it up right as they start shooting at me for an easy win or double. Never had an issue loosing ordinance.
also pro tip: if you aim at the floor in the general area where you want it to come down and then you push the button often times it will go generally right where you are looking at.

You’re right, I’m not, but I also not going to be a -Yoink!- to people.
Last night, me and another teammate tried to get the Mantis. We both stopped for a second, not sure what to do. So I decided to back off and let him have it. Do you know what happened next?
He said “thank you!” Crazy right?
And later in the game, I plasma’d an enemy Mantis that was given him trouble, allowing him to board and destroy it. Once again, he thanked me for helping.
We kicked much -Yoink- that game, and that player earned my respect.
It always makes me smile when somebody drops my weapon back onto the floor, even when someone beats me to the maps power weapon and I get a little naughty and start shooting him and he drops it for me. Usually they turn around and kill you with it.
Last night i saved a teamate by assassinating the guy shooting him. To my surprised he just stood there watched me kill him gave me a nod and walked on. I was really surprised to see this because as we all know when you start a assassination most of your team emptys a clip trying to steal the kill

You are a perfect example of whats wrong with the entitlement me first generation that ruins game forums.
You’d probably betray someone for the power weapon too.

I can put up a killing spree or more with sniper, so it needs to be in my hands

And im sure more players can do the same if not better. Makes no sence to teamkill for a weapon its a fisrt come first serve
I was driving around a guy in a warthog, him shooting and me silently cursing how bad he was at it. It ended with me accidenty running him over and leaving the vehicle to go on foot. Some time later he comes driving a brand new warthog, drives up to me, jumps out and get’s on the turret. He knew how much I liked driving. I felt bad.
Thanks random online player, for not being another me.
