Anyways… has anyone experienced any issues with the “Upload to File Share” feature in Halo 4? After noticing that the Online File Browser became active, I decided to snap some pics and upload them. I labeled them from 1 to 9 (They’re actually 8 but whatever) and proceeded to select the “Upload to File Share” option after pressing Y with each picture. I noticed that after doing so with the 5th picture, I couldn’t select the option (When pressing Y while highlighting any of the other 3 it showed up as “Uploading” even though I hadn’t selected them for uploading. It may not seem like a big deal, but it could be, “On a higher scale”, to call it that.
So, anyone had this kind of issue with the file systems in Halo 4?
I would assume (but haven’t checked) that exiting the game will forcibly cancel any active transfers currently in progress. Have you tried exiting the game, restarting it, and reattempting an upload?
If the issue persists, you can upload files without putting them on your Share. Screenshots that you take in Theater will automatically be uploaded to the File Browser when you exit (so long as the buggy broken word filter doesn’t block them); they won’t go in your Share, but they’ll be “out there”, and they can be tagged and searched for.
Hello David! Well, I didn’t try that, namely because I simply waited for the first 5 pictures to upload (I checked on Active Transfers) and as soon as it was done, I tried uploading the other 3 and I noticed they didn’t show up as “Uploading” anymore, then I proceeded to do so with no problems at all. It seemed that I had to wait for the first 5 in order to upload the rest. Thanks!
