I’ve been having this problem for the last week or two where my in-game audio (when playing Halo 5; that’s pretty much all I’ve played the last two weeks) will be fine for a few hours and then it will start to put audio in weird spots, for example, if I’m on one side of the map and my team is on the other end, let’s say for direction’s sake I have them on my right I can hear them engaging the enemy as if they were next to me on my left. It’s not that the sounds are completely switched, it’s that the sounds from one side of my character in-game will be also heard on the other side but sound closer than the ones where the actual sound is taking place.
I’m not sure what the problem is. My setup is HyperX Cloud IIs plugged into Xbox Stereo Headset Adapter which goes into my Xbox Elite Controller.
FWIW: I tried removing the adapter to see what it would do and it did seem to help, but I’m not sure if I needed to play longer in order to allow for time to replicate the problem.
Also, I don’t have my headset on backwards and other people do not have their TVs on too loud so much that I can hear it through their mics.
