In-Depth Stats: Branch - Welcome to the ßeta

Welcome to the ßranch Beta. The brother of Leaf, that deals with in-depth Halo 4 Stats. I’ve been working on this since just before Leaf came out, but I was stunted by; Linux, Rails Deployment, and getting a full time job.

Anyway, Branch shows everything HaloWaypoint does (almost, more is coming), in a cleaner and more friendly style (without stupid, useless css and background videos that just make it sluggy, tacky, and meh).

Interesting app. What is your strategy to compete against Waypoint and Halo Tracker? What’s unique about your app?

Great job man! I especially enjoyed the match history features which is much better and cleaner than Waypoint. It also looks pretty neat with a lot of features for being a beta, looking forward to be seeing this site improving in the future! :v:

I have no intentions to compete with anyone. This is just something I made for some friends, that was easier to use than Waypoint and Cleaner and better designed than Waypoint and Halo Tracker. This isn’t for leaderboards or anything like that, this is just a Bungie.net style website for viewing stats as in-depth as they need to be.

Good to see good work from the community. Nice.

Forgive my ignorance, what is the difference between branch and leaf?

I looked over the app and I really like it. I like the layout, the speed and the information. I’m confused at the “load out purchase completion”. It states 51% but I know I’ve bought all things I can unlock.

Nice!

Can’t help but notice that your using the German odd ‘B’. ‘ss’ double ‘S’,Thus welcome to the sseta, never mind, I think the site is really nice, nice and simple.

It must be all the additional weapon skins that you could only get through pre-ordering at certain stores and whatever else. That is the only reason I can think of.

OP: Looks good, I haven’t checked it out in detail yet but from what I have seen it looks relatively easy to navigate.

Looks good so far.

If I may make a recommendation: something on the site is preventing me from opening links in new tabs with the middle-mouse button. Sometimes, it even blocks the context menu. A small fix might be a good idea.

This is actually pretty nifty.

I noticed one problem though. It says I’ve only got 49% of the loadout items unlocked when I’ve got all of them. I’m guessing this is due to it not registering items unlocked via specializations.

Seems to be a bug on your end, I can’t replicate this at all.

as My friend said: “Leaf is a more lightweight quick overall stats checker. Branch is a full-blown one which intends to offer at least as many features as the official Halo Waypoint stats checker.”

And as someone else pointed out, thats because alot of items are preorder items. The data is not edited, it’s as returned from 343.

Looks good. The game history section is definitely your strongest asset at the moment. I know you have a column for your placing in this, but another for win/loss could be handy

How do you mean?
