So does this implify that the UNSC managed to identify parts of the ship?

The remains of the ship were probably found, but could have been used up completely when the sentinels started to repair the Ark.

Chief and Arby used FUD to escape the Ark. As they went thru the portal it closed and split the ship in half. Arby made it back to Earth, and Chief was stranded in space for 4 years till he ended up on Requiem.

The other forces had already departed and Johnson apparently flew it in alone and left it in a safe location. It was apparently part of John and Cortana’s escape plan, so Johnson took it to an LZ and then rushed over to support with a Warthog. Requires an unusually strong suspension of disbelief and Johnson being “immune” to the Flood.
Considering that High Charity was detonated in an attempt to destroy the Gravemind while on the Ark, I doubt that any of In Amber Clad that was stuck in High Charity survived the explosion. Though it is possible that parts of the ship were identified, it’s more likely that its final fate was assumed based on its last official sighting.
