Whilst I enjoy Halo (all of them) and have modded it and made maps (Halo CE (That’s Custom Edition for you lot)), I don’t think this has been executed as well as it could have.
I’ve noticed that it’s not running as smoothly as it could, sound problems in bits that sounds like a stuck record (e.g. When the pelican comes in on TSC, she said “This is echo 4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-19 inbound…” and general performance issues, including within the cutscenes sometime.
I’m sure even the original Xbox version doesn’t play this bad on the Xbox 360 when being emulated.
Although, having said that I have enjoyed playing the campaign with updated graphics and soundtrack, some bits I have been a bit cautious in where I go…wondering what will happen (even though I already know xD), been years since a game has done that to me. The terminals are nice too, definitely something different compared to Bungie, a new breath of life it seems within them.
P.S. I got the game early as a retailer nearby sold it a week before release

This, games these days run a LOT smoother while installed to the Hard Drive.
The game is pretty bugged it must be said. Sounds do sometimes get stuck and repeat- plasma pistol for example randomly makes the charge sound while not in the act of charging- also the green charge itself sometimes isn’t there
Different shading technique too for far off geometry that now renders wrongly from the original xbox version-ruins the towering cliffs effect in Assault of the Control room. This while in classic mode it must be said
Although no major slowing down of frame, there is however constant frame skips in both modes- more so when in classic. Original Xbox doesn’t miss frames this way
Sound of Assault rifle if extremely loud now in comparison all other sounds to the point you may not want to use it
There are several more things i’ve noticed and so if you want the pure vanilla Halo experience, don’t expect it here
Oh and the remastered music is not especially great but you can at least swap to original

Sounds like this game has the same problem as Battlefield 3. Meh, it won’t bother me at all as I am use to that happening.
Having played through the first 2 levels on legendary,there are a few issues for me.yes it’s not as smooth as I’d have hoped and there are a few sound issues.Also twice the game has froze completely on me right at the end of “halo” .
Making me switch the Xbox off and having to play right back from the beginning. cut scenes frame rate too doesn’t seem right.

I did install it straight away before playing and whilst it’s alright most of the time, on the odd occasion I have noticed a problem.
To who said “Everyone’s a critic”, is it really necessary? I was just giving my view on what I don’t think is good about it, but also how I’ve enjoyed the campaign nonetheless. I mean, I’m glad it plays exactly to how it should do.
If anyone reads this, on AOTC, can you still do that pelican glitch at the start? Can’t seem to get it at all…whereas I used to get it first time xD

I have the same problem. Also I can’t do the banshee glitch anymore. To the point where you get the tank for the first time and you have to shoot a couple of rockets under a platform

Did you try it with Boom skull on? It should be possible (I tested the glitch on Halo PC via modding blast radius).

hmm didn’t think about the boom skull. I will try it when I get home from school.
I also read somewhere that bungie patched it so that it’s not possible to do that glitch on the 360. Correct me if I’m wrong
