I love playing unsc mainly cutter but sadly im not pkaying unac anymore in ranked.
in 2s high level the only leader combo you cab play currently and take map control is double decimus. only cause the other team plays him aswell.
double vortex and glassing beam is just to atrong for any unsc opening units. plus choppers shredding infantry and the ram ability almost 2 shotting squads. kind of counters cutters early game advantage which is stupid
me and my buddy played 2 guys who went double decimus, we went decimus and cutter and honeatly there is no counter for mass chopper spawn gernade throw is not enoygh when they can out produce you from the minis. its just not fair for unsc right now
alass im done with unsc for now and maining decimus and atreox now so is my friend
ps we played the same 2 guys after we lost, both of us placed decimus massed choppers and absolutely stomped them. so what this means is scrubs are getting free undeserved wins from abusing imbalanced units. only in 2s and 3s ranked.

losing map control results in a 90% game loss chance, the adbantage is so high
and you cant take map control with marines which makes choppers broken. vortex even at lebel 1 kills your early marine squads and from that pount on you lose full map control.
the outcome is 1 goes locust reaver and the other goes to tech 3 and masses wraiths. before you say it hunters/cyclopses do not counter wraiths. wraiths are uncounterable without shock rounds and sonce you lose map control getting it pkus cyclopses is just impossible.
ynsc is impossible to play right niw. rines are suppose to be the best basic unit but are negated by scout vehicle spam just like jack rabbits… hopefully next patch nerfs then to the ground just like jack rabbits

I disagree. For 2s my first leader points on Decimus are Vortex/Upgraded vortex/ glassing beam/ either Tele or boundless siphon depending what comp I’m against

Decimus is definitely a hard counter to cutter imo. His vortex is insanely strong vs infantry. UNSC have a rough t1 at the moment but once you’re t2 you should be fine.

I don’t believe that marines should beat choppers, but that’s not the point. Double banished has unit composition problems in the mid game.

Banished shouldn’t have early, mid and late game advantage unsc was the early game faction. Now that people abused rushing with JRs and infantry unsc has lost advantage of early game, mid game they can try to close out but banished gets locusts and can easily end the game, late game unsc is at a huge disadvantage banished has too much utility to work with, with their army, compared to unsc. High level play consists of mainly banished and that’s for a reason.
Tank spam is counterable by any skilled banished player.
Unsc could use a buff to something that isn’t game breaking. Maybe let snipers be able to attack scout vehicles, I see when a sniper is firing at an infantry and a vehicle is in front of it, it does damage to the vehicle haha
Unsc just needs something tonrely on if s*** hits the fan which happens far to often nowadays

As the meta changes, our strategies need to change. I do believe some UNSC should be buffed in the next release (such as Anders and Forge). As for Snipers, this would not help with scout vehicles. 1) Resources needed are high 2) They are slow 3) Their fire rate is slow… If someone is massing scout vehicles your snipers would be eaten alive and it would be game over since you just over-committed resources compared to your opponent… Also cyclops are the anti-vehicle units
As for the argument that Cutter is unusable in 2 v 2 - 6 of the top 10 players in 2 v 2 are using Cutter so I don’t understand the argument… In the top 10 that is the most used leader…

Why? Lol😂. Shrouds are untouchable late game. Just having 4-6 as support makes your army seem invincible. A guy rage quit because I was at his last base with the remnants of my army(2shrouds, 4Banshees and 1 Hunter). He couldn’t kill my troops because the shrouds blocked all of his banshees.
Hunters are better than Cyclops, Shrouds block tank Canister Shells. UNSC can’t compete at all.
JackRabbits need a buff, UNSC leader powers need a shorter cool down(specifically Cutter)and Nightingales Y-ability needs a larger radius.
