I read all of the comments and none the less this has been my most successful post to date period. However whilst some of you suggested some things that would never work it gave me a genius idea, one which would not only create an opportunity for more re-playability but also could add in some achievements too. Here is what I suggest. We keep skulls and we have to go find them to use them, but what if skulls were not the only things hidden in the game? What I am proposing is some other game changer item.
I will use halo 3 as an example. In halo 3 the final mission we are tasked with the destruction of the ark and initiating epic music in the warthog radio. What if before had you looked around for a while and found a skull. “Hhhhmmmmm thats cool” I said but what if there was a second item hidden somewhere. Introduction “Artifact’s/Tac pads(Like in halo reach)” Finding these in a certain mission will give a certain mission a twist to how it plays. The best example I can give was by “Twizzsted” which was in his words.
Driving test.
Effect: The player’s vehicle explodes if the player splatters any enemies.
Now Imagine that on the last mission of halo 3. This would be a seriously tough challenge to complete on legendary whilst the flood are hurling themselves at you whilst taking no damage from the many bullets fired at them.
Here are some Ideas I had.
1.Fists of fury.
This Artifact/Tac pad would make guns useless and all you are given are your fists. Begin to smash your enemy’s skulls in until nothing is left but “Mush”. This would be in a mission heavily centred around CQC or close quarters combat.
