Improving halo 4s Playlist

Ok so currently there are to many playlist right now and 343 is trying to make less playlist so the population spread but by doing so they have added unwanted gametypes to infinity slayer and put regicide in rumble pit.

Ok so i believe there should be ranked and social playlist for halo 4 for 3 reasons

  1. I Dont want to half to worry about my rank getting to high in social playlist like infinity slayer or big team

  2. Plalist like infinity slayer, big team, flood and action sack are not competitive and do need a csr.

  3. If i want to play with friends that are new to halo or not as skilled than they will be forced to play good players because my csr is high in that playlist.

Social Playlist (use sr 1-130 ranks)

  1. Team slayer (Keep infinity slayer gametype and slayer pro add team slayer playlist that you guys were planning on in the 3rd voting slot.)

  2. Big team battle (Add objective in the 3rd voting slot keep infinity settings and big team slayer settings add dominion to).

  3. Legendary Slayer (This should stay away from team slayer because it is compeltly different than slayer pro, team slayer, and infinity slayer it would end up replacing slayer pro and it would never get voted for because the majority of the people left in halo 4 are infinity fans add br start voting option <mark>add pitfall</mark>.)

  4. Team action sack (Make 5v5 and add multi team slayer/objective and add flood.)

  5. Grifball

  6. Team objective (small 4v4 objective add legendary objective and team slayer settings that 343 announced.)

  7. Champions bundle dlc (add legendary slayer settings as a voting option and make a pit that works with legendary slayer if it gets voted.)

Ranked (use online csr)

  1. Team throwdown (make dlc required playlist ghost and add pitfall with v5 settings.)

  2. Team doubles (add legendary slayer settings with br starts)

  3. Team snipers

  4. Swat

This is only 11 playlist compared to the 16 playlist we have now this will make the population less spread.

Otherwise, skilled players can take advantage of noobs and effectively boost their stats exponentially.

How about splitting them into infinity, legendary, and community?

Both infinity and legendary would have slayer, CTF, objective, whatever else.

Community would have things such as flood, throwdown, action sack, snipers, swat, yea.

lawl social playlist worked fine in halo 3 whats wrong with 4 and also if they get agaisnt skilled players they can just back out of the pre game lobby

CSR is used to match you up with similarly skilled players. In my opinion, the concept of social playlists is flawed because of that. Competitive or not, you’d be matched up with someone that either has never picked up a controller or someone that plays professionally. In either case, it’s not fun, as “social” playing should be.

“Backing out” in a pre-game lobby shouldn’t be a solution. I shouldn’t have to back out because some calculations weren’t done.

Shootin Sammy, what about those who play SWAT and want to be ranked?

One thing I really want to see is a matchmaking forge playlist. Maybe put a new map/gametype up for vote every few weeks for the community to decide on, have some people test it to make sure it meets certain criteria, etc. In my opinion, it’d keep the game from getting stale, playing the same maps over and over.
