Improving blitz

blitz is a very fun game mode, but it has a low player base due to the lack of maps. Here are some suggestions I have to improve blitz.

1-new blitz gamemodes
examples: oddball- a neutral flood unit has an oddball and is constantly moving around. When a unit kills the flood unit the oddball is dropped. Any ground unit that touches the oddball obtains it. A unit that has the oddball scores 1 point every 2 seconds. The bases for red team and blue team don’t heal units. First team to score a total of 100 points wins

Terminus invasion: one team defends the terminus, while the other team tries to destroy it.

new blitz cards and maps would be nice.

Very few people buy blitz packs because they are easy to unlock, the cards are permanent and most high levels players rarely play blitz, so I highly recommend removing the option to purchase blitz packs with real money. As a result, new players won’t think blitz is pay to win and blitz packs would be more valuable. Other suggestions from other players are also valuable.

The Blitz playerbase is already quite small, so there’s no reason to add new gamemodes, as it would split the playerbase even further.

New Blitz cards and maps aren’t likely at this time, as the remaining devs are more so focused on balance at this point in time. Having a new map or two would be amazing, though. Maybe one day.

Lastly, the option to purchase Blitz packs likely won’t be removed. With them being around this long, it’s extremely unlikely we’ll see that go anywhere.
