Improving Anniversary Playlists

I’ve spent a long time away from Reach. I keep coming back and trying to play vanilla, and even TU Reach, but I just get bored or frustrated and quit. I recently went and played some of the Anniversary playlists, and I have to say it’s definitely a lot more fun that the rest of Reach right now. Point of this thread is, while these playlists are really fun, they’re not perfect; and I have some suggestions for making them the best they can be.

-Remove bloom completely. Even though it pretty much resets before you can fire again, it would still be nice to see it gone completely.
-Increase the jump height and gravity. It feels like it’s even lower in this gametype than vanilla Reach because of the gravity. Make us jump higher and have a little float at the top, just like past Halo’s.
-Make Anniversary playlists ONLY have classic gametypes. I don’t want to see a snippet of normal Reach in there, and if I have to play a TU gametype in the BTB playlist I’ll honestly just dashboard it. It makes sense, if the BTB playlist was updated to have the TU, then why should the Anniversary BTB playlist have TU gametypes?
-Make the rest of the weapons function a little more similar to their CE counterparts. Yeah, the pistol feels good, but the rockets RoF is too high compared to CE, and so on. Do a little more weapon balancing to make them feel like the CE weapons. Kill times are great for the pistol, but the rest of the weapons remain untouched. Make other weapons useful, with their CE fast kill times.
-Grenades, grenades, grenades. Spawning with one grenade, I can’t remember if it was like this in CE, but it feels wrong. We should spawn with 2. Also let us carry 4 of each grenade type (it’s possible in custom games, so it should be cake for this playlist).
-Playlists and maps. I suggest that the Anniversary Classic playlist only uses the 6 maps that came with Halo CEA, but the Anniversary Squad uses the rest of the maps from Reach. It would add a little more variety for those who want classic gameplay but want to play on more maps. You could also add community remakes to Squad similar to the Classic playlist before CEA’s launch (Lockout, RatRace, Midship, etc. They’d all be welcomed back)

I feel like if some love was given to the Anniversary playlists, it would attract even more players to it. So please 343, remember that it is supposed to be a classic experience so make it as close to CE as possible! I know some stuff is impossible, but a lot of things are in your power that would add to the classic experience.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions or criticisms?

I don’t mind, but I can’t stand Anniv. on Ridgeline/Timberland. Always sniping and pistol.

Umm…you dont have to hold the trigger down to get bloom.

Im so tired of the spammers beating me cuz i choose to pace, bloom should be taken out.

The visual bloom on the pistol doesn’t affect your accuracy unless you hold the trigger down, try firing it against the wall by tapping, then by automatic firing, you will see that tapping will always have it within the default circle, while automatic will go as far as the bloom does.

If the grenades in Reach actually had the CE time fuse, I might of agreed to give more than 1 but, since they are still the grenukes from Reach… 1 is enough.
