Improvements to Credit Earning?

Xbox Live users who play non-Matchmaking modes in Halo: Reach are punished greatly with significantly reduced Credits. I spent an hour playing Firefight last night in order to get the “Heat in the Pipe” achievement, yet despite how long I played for and how many points I earned I was only given around 50 Credits. Considering the fact that Halo: Reach’s ranking system is based on time played and not skill, would it really be so bad for those who don’t want to pay for Xbox Live Gold to be able to earn even 1,000 Credits per game?

Considering how old the game is I doubt it’ll ever happen, but improvements to how Credits are earned would be greatly appreciated.

It’s like this because it’s easy to abuse. In Campaign: Using Target Locator and revert to last checkpoint over and over. In Firefight: Set enemies to Legendary all skulls on, make yourself invincible and 1000% damage with a bottomless clip Rocket Launcher, then rack in the points.

There’s probably something they could’ve about this (For Campaign: Target Locator kills don’t give cR. For Firefight: Can only earn cR playing Built-in gametypes). But I understand their position, the crowd who - A) Doesn’t play online & B) Wants to rank up - is small. I’m kind of on your side, I would have liked earning cR playing offline Firefight. I love ‘Firefight Limited’ and online firefight is laggy for me like 80% of the time.

But yeah, nothing’s gonna change at this point. Maybe there’d be a change if it were added to MCC.
