Hey everyone i personally LOVE every Halo game i think they are great (with a few exceptions).
There are just a few things i want to touch on about Reach that i think can be improved in H4 because i think H4 will be an amazing game.

Ranking System - In H3 there was somewhat of an xp system but it was still win/lose oriented in H2 i believe it was all about the win/lose you win you get promoted you lose you get demoted and that kinda help keep the balance in skill. I think there needs to be somewhat of a H2/H3 hybrid for H4 where as u can lose a game but based on how positive u went you would get a certain level of xp that is accumulated towards your rank so if you did AMAZING but u lose because ur teammates were unable to hold their own then you would progress where they get left behind. (I think its very logical and is very important in keeping the game fare for all players which is what Halo is all about).

Pummel System - In H3 if u went to mele someone when u were near them you would almost automatically get the hit. In Reach u can be standing right in front of someone and ur mele can still miss. I think there should be some level of balance if im within 2feet of the person i believe the mele should register, but if im further than around 4-5feet then of course it shouldn’t. I really dislike the mele system in Reach its almost as if my fist rub against their body but doesn’t place impact. Another problem i have found is when im going for the trade and i would press mele i would see my spartans arm throw out but yet it doesn’t make contact, and i’ve seen that time and time again not only in my gameplay but in pro’s gameplay.

Grenade System - In H3 the nades were perfect really… they bounced off the walls and floor without any glitching. They would travel a decent distance and be thrown upon pulling the trigger without much delay. In reach however the nades seem to be a bit random… i can throw one nade and it bounces off the floor i then throw another and it gets stuck on the floor and i take damage. Another thing i notice with the nades in HaloReach is that some (very few) but still some nades stick to spartans body (and when i say nades and i speak about grenades im NOT talking about sticky nades im talking about actual normal spartan grenades). The Grenade system in reach seems to be very bad and that could do with the maps being very un-smooth imo. Grenades seem to get stuck on the enviorment a lot in Reach rather than the smooth throw and bounce system seen in H3 i hope there will be some form of an improvement there
I love all of you guys at the 343 studio and i really see H4 being an amazing game and im grateful to you guys paying attention to your audience :).
