I’m sure this idea has been brought up and I think I may have even posted something similar in this past but I had an idea that may help the req system.
Once you unlock a weapon, you permanently unlock it but are limited to the usage per game and still have to build up your score to be able to access it. Ie, all legendary read still require you to hit level 7-8 read but you can only pull 1 ie. Nornfang a game and if you lose it, you have to wait until next game to be able to use it again.
The pros would be, even if you did lose it you wouldn’t really care that much since you aren’t limited unless you use req points or real world money to purchase it. The cons would be people being able to pull 1 extremely powerful few every single game, unless earning that req level is harder than it currently is forcing you to kill bosses and Spartans to reach it without the fall back of your team capping bases giving you few energy etc.
The problem is, with this being supposedly the most expensive game ever to be made, they would lose a ton of profit they made from the H5 req system unless they specifically made a ton of purchasable cosmetic gear through credits or money. The downside is to that being, people may earn gear that others can just buy taking away the satisfaction of working towards something.
I didn’t think I’d like war zone but I ended loving it and would like any solution to get rid of the semi pay to win idea behind it.
